What do you know, an update! E-mail

October 20, 2009

Since the Sienna is in the UK for bodywork and new panels / doors I haven't been updating the site for a long time. We visited the car two weeks ago and I have posted some pics in the gallery of ongoing work. The car is now scheduled to be ready at the end of January and returns to the Netherlands. Once the car is back you can expect more updates. I might upload some more pics soon.

It has been a while... E-mail

October  24, 2008

It has been a while. The car is still in the UK and progress is not as far as I hoped it to be, guess I need to have a bit more patience. The 22nd until the 24th I will be in the UK to see the progress on the body mods and the doors and hopefully we will be able to get the car back to Holland in not a too long timeframe.

Roof mod done

The roof mod has been done, more pics in the gallery.

Car in the UK E-mail

May 13, 2008

The Sienna is in the UK now for a couple of weeks. The objectives are to have the body bonded to the chassis. To have the roof modification done and to have all the new panels hinged to the car, including new doors.

I'll be travelling to the UK next weekend to have a look at the progress David is making and to help a hand when needed. Naturally I will take pictures and post them as soon as I'm back.

Not much updates E-mail

Not much updates lately.  To be completely honest I didn't feel like updating the site for some time, my life being occupied with other things.

There still is progress on the car though. What is left to do to be able to start the engine is to fill both the engine  and gearbox with oil, fill the coolant and connect the leveling gasoline hose between the two tanks. Wiring has been sorted now but I am still not happy with the way the fuel pump is addressed. It has been connected with an inertia switch but I found that there is a fuelpump connector on the computer as well. I think I will use this connection rather then the approach taken up to now.
